Well, it's Valentines Day. The day I've been dreading since last V-Day. Why you ask? Because my husband NEVER gets me anything for Valentines Day! Wait, I take that back. The first year we were dating, he got me flowers.....and I paid for them. Such a gentlemen. So, last year, I thought MAYBE, since it was our FIRST Valentines Day as a married couple, that he would get me flowers. Do you think he did? Hell no! Not a single thing! Not even a card! (And we didn’t go out to eat either).
However, this year, my friend at work had a little talk with Brent. And when I mean talk, I mean she actually gave him my address at work and the phone number to the flower shop. Well good job AJ. Because guess what I received at work today. A dozen roses!!! Yay for me!!
We’re staying in tonight and having dinner at home. I think I’ll stop by the Liq on the way home and pick up a nice bottle of wine. Boone’s Farm sounds good. It doesn’t bother me that we’re not going out to eat tonight. I HATE crowds and I HATE waiting in line-especially when I’m hungry. Plus, it would be hard going out to eat since I’m BACK ON WEIGHT WATCHERS!!
Yes, that’s right. The time has come for me to “get back on the right track”-a quote from my favorite motivational speaker-Matt Foley. I’ve been doing quite well actually. I guess when you want something bad enough, it’s not as hard to keep on keepin on! To assist my weight loss technique, I ordered some exercise DVD’s. I know, I know. Most exercise tapes just sit around and collect dust. But I have immense faith that this one WILL WORK! It’s called the Yoga Booty Ballet. (They have a wonderful infomercial that totally draws you in.) It doesn’t look too hard and it actually looks fun. It’s mostly dancing, which may give me a hard time considering I somewhat lack coordination skills, oh well! AND, if you don’t have a flatter tummy and a tighter booty in 7 days, you are guaranteed your money back!! (You probably have to do it 7 days in a row to get those kind of results). But, I’ll give it a whirl! Wish me luck! Tomorrow is D-Day-I have to weigh-in.

Dinner at home sounds nice -- and Boone's Farm, too! Hey -- try Arbor Mist sometime; it's yummy too! (Although my fave is Berringer White Zin).
Glad the hubby finally took a hint!
